Why do some atheists want to destroy monuments and erase our history?

This is true! I live in San Diego and we often go up to pray at that cross. It should not be removed!!!!! It is part of our history whether we’re Christian or not! I think the offended people should choose their battles more wisely. This is ridiculous!
