Christians: What spiritual disciplines (if any) do you personally practice?
Let’s use this as a definition: spiritual discipline is, when practiced faithfully and regularly, a habit or regular pattern in your life that repeatedly brings you back to God and opens you up to what God is saying to you.
So, what do you do?
Journaling
Pilgrimages
Prayer
Daily devotionals
Service to others
Singing
Fasting
and so on…
Music is a primary spiritual discipline for me. I feel intensely spiritual sometimes when performing music. I have done fasting, but not often (thinking about doing it again). I pray, meditate, chant, and try to be of service to others. I know it sounds weird, but I’ve also been incorporating dance into my spirituality lately. I am interested in various ways of reaching inner knowledge.
